It was a very festive Halloween. We helped BT carve a pumpkin. We dressed him up and went on our way. I had the stomach flu but still toughed it out so I could see my little man trick or treat. At first BT wasnt too pleased with the event but by the third house he was more than happy to grab candy from the hands of strangers. in fact the next day B thought he could still knock on doors and get candy. Bt had fun on his mommy and me date. We went to the SLO Children's Museum. The highlight was the train table where BT spent most of his time. He found it so cozy he decided it would be a great place to take a poopie. After the museum we went for ice cream at Foster's Freeze. Yummy!

Im a little goldfish! I am now in my 2nd session and the skills we are working on include: Swimming to momma underwater. Rolling over under water to float on my back. Falling into the water and swimming to the wall and hanging on of coarse. Im doing exceptionally well according to my instructor. Daddy says it is cause I'm a water dog just like him!

Mom was washing some dishes in the kitchen this morning. Then, all of a sudden, I got up on all fours and cruised on in there to join her. You should have seen her face!! Now Im really on the move, straight for all existing light sockets and lamp cords. Mobility is SWEET!!!

Well life has just been getting busier and my computer just keeps getting slower! Making it more difficult to keep BT's blog up to date. But I have decided I just need to sit here and do it. Bryan Thomas is making so much progress and changing everyday and Id love to give you all a glimpse of what has been going on in his life over the past couple of months. Where to begin???? There were trips to San Diego. Plane rides, visits with friends and family. Well...I think Ill just start with a slew of pictures to give you all a peek.

It's old news by now, but Bryan started sleeping in his crib for naps at about 4 1/2 months. Then he transitoned into it for night time at about 5 months. This is a picture of his first nap in the crib. Sweet success! Midge likes to join him as well, so now we have to keep the door shut. Mommy kicks it in there too. Well just once.

So I Can Eat. When I Feel Like It.

I started solid foods this past week. First I tried rice cereal several times but I wasn't too impressed. So mom tried some carrots the other day. I liked them a lot and ate the whole serving by the end of my feeding and wanted more. But I haven't felt much like carrots since. I'm not so sure about this solid food thing. However, I'm getting really good at grabbing the bottle and the boobie with my hands... but the spoon...I'm still not sure what that is all about.

UPDATE 6/6/07: Today I ate a whole serving of sweet potatoes and 1/2 serving of pears. Not bad eh?

4 Month Check Up

So I went to see Dr. Teaford on Monday. I got three shots and took them like a champ. I only screamed three times :) I also got weighed and measured. Here are my statistics.

WT. 14.12 lbs 50%

HT. 25.5" 75%

Head Circ.16.5" 25%

The verdict: I'm a healthy big boy with a small head.

Thats right I have the chicken pox! Lucky for us they are mild and the worse is over. It took mom a bit to figure out it was more than a rash and we needed to see the doctor. I was on the mend by the time we got there. Yeah mommie! She couldnt of imagined it was the chicken pox at 2 months old. I continue to amaze her daily.

This past weekend I had a friend come for a quick visit! Peyton Stockton is about 1.5 months older than me. We had a great time screaming and crying and playing "next" to each other. Mom had a great time visiting Peyton's mom Jaime as well. I liked Peyton so much I may have given her a little going away present...(see above)

On our way to San Luis Obispo for a fast lunch... Better buckle Up! The Mommies didn't know what they were in for!!!!

Any Given Sunday

This Sunday was my first trip to church. Daddy dressed me up in something other than my onesie and my diaper(which I wasn't to sure about) and we were off! It went pretty good. I was happy while everyone was singing but then I started to get a little fussy when it got quiet. Mommy took me into the mother and baby room and I fell right to sleep. Then she snuck me back out to our seat next to daddy and I listened with my eyes closed the rest of the time ;) Mom was happy and called it a success!

After church and a quick snack we were off to Avila Beach. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! We strolled around and had some gelato. Mommy gave me a lick of mint and chip. Before too long we were on our way home. I was so tired from our busy day I actually slept through the whole night for the very first time! It must have been the mint and chip gelato :)

This past weekend Mommy and I went to Clovis to visit Papa and Grandma. I had so much fun. Papa let me lick a Banana! He played with me so much I hardly had time for my naps. When I did nap, I napped on him.

I also visited GREAT Grandma Mary while I was there. Maybe I can get a picture of that up soon. It did not go as well as I had hoped because Papa forgot to bring a bottle of "Grandpa Milk" aka...formula.

Days Of Our Lives

Hello my name is Bryan Thomas aka ..."The B.T." So far the first three weeks of my life have been great! My days generally consist of the same activities. Here is a glimpse of what my days are like.

I enjoy drinking milk at the boobie bar..

And then things are pretty good.....

But then it gets rough when it's time to push the poopie out. More poopie, more problems...

All of that pushing and crying makes me sleepy...

Then it's time for a short nap...preferably in my swing.

Before too long it starts all over again...milk...poopie...sleep...All is well in the life of Bryan.
